Hi there!
This year for World Cancer Day we would love you to join us on Sunday 2nd February for our second…
“Walk With Nina”
A 5km Henley to Grange and return beach walk.
We find there is nothing better than breathing in some fresh sea air and feeling the sand on our feet, and Archie’s 🐾!
Nina has been living with Bowel Cancer since being diagnosed in 2020, at age 42. This past year has been tough, with continued treatments, scans, procedures, and notching up over 40 rounds of Chemo.
Through all of this, Bowel Cancer Australia has been a tremendous support for Nina and we hope to raise funds to assist the continued work of this Charity Organisation. Last year we raised over $2600.
This year’s World Cancer Day theme is “United by Unique”. It places people at the centre of care and their stories at the heart of the conversation.
Behind every cancer diagnosis lies a unique human story - stories of grief, pain, healing, resilience, love and more. That’s why a people-centred approach to cancer care that fully integrates each individual’s unique needs, with compassion and empathy, leads to the best health outcomes.
I'm making a difference by fundraising for a cause that's close to our hearts. I would really appreciate any donation you can make, and leave a message of support & hopefully you can make the walk!
